Previously, the production of printing plates required the use of film – a labour, material and chemically intensive process. However developments in digital technology have allowed Greenprint® licensed suppliers to by-pass the use of film by producing plates directly from a computer (CTP), again further reducing the amount of chemicals and materials required to produce your print job.

Ongoing developments in CTP technology continue to allow the Greenprint® licensee to further reduce the use of harmful chemicals, with the eventual aim to remove harmful chemistry from the process altogether.
